1Do you have access to user files?
No. With our end to end encryption and default zero-knowledge configuration Securoo does not have access to your documents.
2What is Securoo and how does end-to-end encryption protect my files?
Securoo encrypts files on the client device before they leave. Only holders of the encryption keys can decrypt content. This means stored data and backups are unreadable to Securoo and any third party without your keys — protecting you from server breaches and insider access.
3How do you protect against account takeover or insider threats?
Multi-factor authentication (MFA), device binding, behavioral detection, role-based access controls and session policies help prevent takeover. Administrative actions are logged and require multi-admin confirmations for sensitive operations.
4How does Securoo help me comply with GDPR and avoid fines?
Securoo provides technical controls required by GDPR: encryption end to end/in transit, data locality (EU regions), audit logs, access controls, retention policies and deletion workflows. These reduce likelihood and impact of breaches, but compliance also requires organisational measures (DPIA, consent handling)
5Where are my files stored?
Your files are stored on S3-compatible cloud infrastructure located in European data centers with triple data replication (3 Availability Zones). Each file is securely replicated across three independent facilities, ensuring 100 % data durability and continuous availability, even in the event of hardware or network failures.
6Is there an audit trail and how long is it retained?
Every action (upload, download, share, view, key operations) is logged with timestamp, actor and IP. Retention length is configurable per plan; for Professional plans you can enable extended retention to meet legal hold or compliance requirements.
7What backup and disaster recovery guarantees do you provide?
Encrypted backups, geo-redundant storage and tested restore procedures. For higher SLAs we offer dedicated replicas and RTO/RPO commitments in enterprise contracts.
8Can Securoo integrate with my existing systems (CRM, practice management, document management)?
Yes — we provide REST APIs, webhooks and SDKs for common stacks. We can also offer SSO (SAML / OIDC) and custom connectors to automate ingestion/export workflows.

It allows teams to capture and store customer ID documents safely and quickly, even from mobile or tablet devices, simply by taking a picture of the document at registration. This version also includes a built-in password manager to keep additional client information protected and organized.
