Trial & plans
01 How does the 7-day free trial work?
You sign up with just an email — no credit card required. You get full access to your chosen plan for 7 days. At the end, if you choose not to subscribe, your account is frozen (your data stays safe for another 7 days, then deleted). No automatic charges, no pre-authorised cards.
02 Can I switch plans?
You can only upgrade — never downgrade. Switch plans whenever you like: you only pay the pro-rata difference for the remaining period. The change is immediate.
03 What happens if I exceed the storage or client limit?
We notify you via email when you reach 80% of the limit. At 100%, you can still view and download everything, but you can't add new documents until you free up space or upgrade. No sudden block, no surprise extra charges.
Billing & payments
04 Do you invoice from a European company?
Yes. We invoice from W&B Asset Studio SL, a European company based in Valencia (Spain), the entity that operates Securoo. For EU customers with a VAT number, we apply the intra-community reverse charge. We invoice in EUR. All invoices are downloadable from the admin panel.
05 Do you accept annual payment by bank transfer?
Yes, for annual plans. We send a proforma, you pay by transfer, and we activate the account. This is the preferred method for many law firms and accountants for accounting reasons.
06 Are prices VAT-included or excluded?
Listed prices are VAT-excluded. Spanish VAT (21%) is added on the invoice. For EU customers with valid VAT numbers, the intra-community reverse charge applies (0% VAT). For non-EU customers, the operation is VAT-exempt.
07 If I stop using Securoo, will I lose my data?
No, but act before your subscription expires. While your plan is active, you can download all your files directly from the interface, at any time. When the subscription expires, you have 7 days to retrieve what you need — account access stays in read-only mode, with no ability to upload new files. After 7 days, the data is permanently deleted from our servers.
08 Can I pay by corporate card or do I need direct debit?
We accept: credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), and bank transfer.
09 What if my VAT number or company name changes?
No problem. Write to us with the new tax details — we take care of regularising the invoicing and reissue under the new company name. The subscription continues without interruption. We also cover cases of merger or acquisition of the firm.
Security & architecture
10 Does Securoo have access to my files?
No. Securoo uses a zero-knowledge model: files are encrypted on your device before they leave it. Our servers only receive encrypted data — neither Securoo nor any third party can read the content of your documents, not under court order, not in case of a security breach.
11 Where are my files stored?
On servers located exclusively within the European Union. We do not use subprocessors outside European territory. The infrastructure complies with GDPR Article 32 and with the data sovereignty requirements established after the Schrems II ruling.
12 Is there an audit log, and how long is it retained?
Yes. Every access, download, signature, and permission change is recorded in a SHA-256 hash chain with the recorded time. The audit log is retained for 10 years and is exportable as a forensic PDF for regulatory inspections or court proceedings.

13 Can I use Securoo from mobile?
Native iOS and Android apps are on the roadmap. For now, you can use Securoo directly from your phone's browser: same end-to-end encryption guarantees as the desktop version — encryption happens on your device, directly in the browser.
14 Does Securoo integrate with practice management software?
Yes. Securoo integrates with the main practice management software for law and accounting firms — including Cliens, Teamsystem, Zucchetti, Profis, and Lextel. It also provides API and SDK for custom integrations with proprietary CRM or document management systems.
15 What guarantees do you offer in case of data loss or technical disaster?
Files are replicated in real time across multiple European data centres with geographic redundancy. The RPO (Recovery Point Objective) is under 1 hour and the RTO (Recovery Time Objective) is under 4 hours. Backups are performed daily and retained for 30 days. In case of an incident, the recovery protocol is documented and regularly tested.
